| So I go to the vet today, to get this lil bump on Rosie's head checked out and asked looots of questions about her health. It turns out she's totally healthy. She may have had a tick which irritated a sweat gland, but she's okay. Everyone at the vet thought she was adorable and had to meet her and say hi. She is a very curious pup and was trying to explore the whole place and was kind of behaved.
I asked a few questions about planning out what to do if you want kids and have pets. Pregnant women shouldn't clean cat litter boxes. Dogs can track things into a house, where babies crawl, so work around that by cleaning their feet before they come inside, etc, or maybe a relative will take the pet for a couple years. I heard this horror story about a four and a half year old pitt bull that was docile it's whole life that turned on a toddler, so the combination is a bad idea. Also dogs can get weirdly jealous of children so, people should watch out for that.
Dogs for old people on the other hand help them live happier fuller lives. Of course at a certain age one would want to go with a smaller dog, since large ones need a lot of training, to keep them from pulling their people. And smaller dogs are easier to help in their older years get into cars.
